I trust that your business is doing well and that your plans are coming to fruition 😊
Today I would like to talk to you about the importance of positioning your products.
This came to me when a Seller Pulse user (we'll call him David) contacted me to tell me about his sales that were not taking off and his outrageous acquisition cost.
David pointed me to his product. It was an excellent product!
It costs only $8.59 and can be easily sold for around 30 euros. Furthermore, it is a simple, reliable product that requires little after-sales service and with constantly growing sales in the United States.
In short, the perfect product!
Still, the results are disappointing... Why?
He didn't nestle his product and didn't work on its positioning.
Whereas competitors solve a specific problem for a particular target, David has put his product on sale in a generalist " all-in-one " shop with a much too broad target.
Bottom line is it's not selling!
In fact, it is easy to sell the same product on different markets simply by changing the copywriting and taking proper care of a site's appearance.
Take this example:
Most sellers will mistakenly sell this product as a regular fitness device by using the manufacturer's specifications.
Yet there are a multitude of possibilities for positioning:
- It might be a compact, complete and easy to carry device that is perfect for holidays.
- A health and well-being device to tone the body in only 10 minutes a day.
- A weight-loss device to sculpt your body for the summer.
- The perfect companion to a particular sport (Yoga, Pilates, etc.)
There is no lack of ideas, yet few vendors are willing to do this, even though there are many advantages to it:
- Often cheaper acquisition costs thanks to a more targeted audience
- A better conversion rate as the product solves a specific problem
- Less direct competition due to different positioning
- A better reputation with the consumer
Now you get the idea, I challenge you...
All the products you will find below are growing products with quite attractive numbers.
What I am proposing is to find at least 3 different positions for each of these products.
As usual if you want more information about these products, you can find them on Seller Pulse AliExpress.

So, have you come up with at least 3 of the positioning ideas per product?
This simple but sometimes delicate strategy can produce very good results.
Develop the habit of doing this routine. You will be amazed at the opportunities that will come your way.
See you soon
